It is no surprise so that 2017 saw the event sell out nearly two months in advance. “We are thrilled to see the interest levels sky rocket in both the full and half marathon this year, with both races selling out. The full marathon entry is up over 50% with the Half Marathon event at maximum capacity of 2,000 runners and walkers. “The reality is that we could easily have sold another thousand or so spaces, but we are adamant to restrict entry numbers to a workable level to ensure a really fantastic experience for everyone involved. Dingle Marathon is truly an iconic international event at this stage and is set to continue to grow and grow. The half marathon leaves Dingle Town at 9am and heads off in the direction of Ventry to Slea head and finishes near Dunquin. The full marathon has all the half has to offer but much more continuing on from Dunquin, the spectacular scenery continues to keep the spirit alive.
